TCBD has a variety of support groups to help provide education and social support to meet the needs of our community members ranging from adults to teens, from new families to Hispanic programming. Go to the calendar to see community education dinners.
Rural Communities
Men’s
Our men’s programs are for those diagnosed and living with a bleeding disorder. This group is designed to provide education and support, promote good health, and establish a sense of community for adult men.
Women’s
Our TCBD women’s programs are designed for those women and girls, who have a bleeding disorder, who are carriers, or caregivers to someone with a bleeding disorder.
La Fuerza Latina
Quarterly programming for our Spanish-speaking community who are affected with bleeding disorders.
Teens
This is an age where teens are gaining independence, learning to plan for their future, and trying to figure it all out – our teen programs are geared toward these subjects and more and incorporate life skills and fun activities.
Young Adults
The transition to “adulting” can have its challenges and it’s excitement. Our young adult program offers a chance for you to meet others with bleeding disorders who are also navigating the many changes of this time of life, moving, continued education, jobs and relationships.
New Families
Learning that your child has been diagnosed with hemophilia or other type of bleeding disorder can be overwhelming and upsetting for a family. Where do you start? Who can you turn to and help answer your questions? The TCBD community is here to help and be a supportive partner for you.
