TexCen has a variety of support groups to help provide education and social support to meet the needs of our community members ranging from adults to teens, from new families to Hispanic programming.
Our men’s programs are for those diagnosed and living with a bleeding disorder. This group is designed to provide education and support, promote good health, and establish a sense of community for adult men.
In 2016, TexCen hosted a women’s retreat that was educational, relaxing and a fun social event focusing on issues faced by those who have a bleeding disorder as well as the female caregivers of those with a bleeding disorder. Looking ahead, we will continue to host events that provide support to this segment of the bleeding disorders community.
